Jiffy

Jiffy summons a floating note from anywhere with a configurable global hotkey, keeps notes floating or pinned, and restores their layouts between launches. Edit with live Markdown or switch to a rendered preview, then find notes instantly with a full-text switcher or copy and dismiss the current note.

Notes stay local as plain .txt files. Jiffy is a small native AppKit app with no Electron in the middle.
